Last Week's Post-Brexit Debate on UK-EU Fisheries Allocations

On Tuesday 30 November, MPs held a general debate on allocations to UK and EU fisheries following Brexit. The debate also covered crew availability, as well as infrastructure and safety on fishing vessels. Watch the full recording here.
Bilateral Discussions Between UK, Norway and the Faroes Continue

Bilateral fisheries negotiations between the UK, Norway and the Faroes are nearing a close, as are follow-up trilateral talks between the UK, Norway, and the EU. The nations seek consensus on TACs for shared stocks and reciprocal fishing access agreements.
Scottish Government Awards £3 Million in Funding to Promote Sustainability

Fishing businesses and marine organisations in coastal communities have been awarded more than £3 million in the latest round of funding from the Scottish Government's Marine Fund Scotland. The money aims to promote innovation in sustainable practices.
